Here you will find a summary of the most important information about deerisle server and mission files and other stuff
CUSTOM DEERISLE SERVER CONFIGS
When starting up your Deerisle Server the first time, it will generate some vanilla deerisle configs for you. You will find those specific server config files within your servers\profile folder. So if you mess something up while editing the files, you can delete them and the server will regenerate them. You should find:
a) \yourProfileFolder\Deerisle
b) \yourProfileFolder\SpawnerBubaku
Within those folders you will find:
- ClassicWalkConfig.json
This parameter enables (1) or disables (0) "ClassicWalk". Enabling "ClassicWalk" will result in slower player walking speed on step hills ("more realistic hill movement"). Players can use/find deerisles "MilitaryMountainBoots" (check types.xml) which will allow them to still run on those locations.
- SecurityDoorConfig.json
This file contains some mixed settings for various deerisle mechanics:
"door_open_cooldown": 300
The amount in time in sec. before KMUC Gates open after inserting the keycard.
"door_close_cooldown": 5400
The amount in time in sec. before KMUC Gates are autom. closing.
"key_card_damage_on_use": 100.0
Amount of damge in % for the keykard when used
"siren_doorclosing_warning_delay": 300
The time in sec when sirens anouncing an upcoming closing gate event.
"carrier_loot_options"
A list of all items which could possibly spawn within the arctic carrier when inserting the keycard.
"carrier_loot_spawnpoints"
A list of positions where the carrier loot will spawn.
"last_door_state_open"
When set to 1, the gates will be open on server restart.
"save_door_state"
Should the state of the gate be stored and restored on server restart?
- SmokeyConfig.json
This file contains some mixed settings for deerisles mystiq "Smokey" Monster:
"useSmokey": 1
Enables or disables the appearance of smokey on the server
"smokeyStartHour": 22
Smokey can randomly spawn within a timeframe between this starting hour. (SpawnTimeFrame)
"smokeyEndHour": 3
...end this end hour. (SpawnTimeFrame)
"smokeySpawnChance": 10
The chance in % if smokey can spawn within the SpawnTimeFrame. (=Vanilla: There is a 10% chance every night between 22-03)
"smokeyLivetime": 300000
The lifetime in ms how long will smokey stay. (Vanilla: 5min)
"smokeyCooldown": 14400000
The amount of time inss which must pass before smokey can appear again. (Vanilla 4h. Since most servers do auto. restart every 4h this would lead to max 1 time appearance of smonkey within 1 server session)
"attackRange": 150
The range in m in which smokey can detect players.
"smokeyTeleportPlayerChance": 10
The chance in % if smokey doas a random teleport on the attacked player when hitting.
"smokeyPlayerTeleportlocations"
A list of all possible random teleport target locations.
- SpawnerBubaku.json (thx to "HunterZ")
This file contains settings about areas where enemie AI can be spawned by triggers if player pass them. Due to some DayZ related "tech problems", there are some areas on Deerisle (exp. Temple, ArcticCrypt) where its not possible to spawn EnemyAIs with DayZs vanilla spawn mechanic. This is where SB comes in: It will spawn predefined Enemies within a certain area when player passes a trigger. So for example when a players passes the entry of the ArcticCrypt SB will spawn the configured enemies within its dungeon.
